Who is this retreat for? This retreat is for women ages 18 and over, who are new to a Sisters of Life retreat, or who have not been on retreat with us in the past year. If you were recently on retreat with us in the past year (November 2024 at Highlands, CO, February 2025 at Broomtree, SD, or May 2025 at Highlands, CO), please click here to join the waitlist, should there be room.
What to Expect: A weekend of silence and prayer for women ages 18 and over, this retreat includes time and space to encounter the Lord, Mass on Saturday and Sunday, opportunities for Sacramental Confession, and Eucharistic adoration. The Sisters will give conferences throughout on topics such as Introduction to Prayer and The Feminine Heart. The silence is broken only for these conferences and for a personal meeting with a Sister, should you desire it.
Highlands Ranch Retreat Center is a place of renewal, hope, and mercy under the protection of the Blessed Mother. Drawing from the liturgy and teachings of the Catholic Church, the retreats we offer are centered on the Eucharist. The rest, quiet, and prayer at Highlands Ranch Retreat Center will strengthen retreatants, deepen their spiritual lives, and help them to be “people of life and for life” more fully.
Meals: The weekend includes all meals prayerfully and lovingly prepared for you, as well as snacks provided throughout your retreat. However, the retreat center can only accommodate Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Dairy-Free diets. If you have particular dietary needs beyond this, please feel free to bring supplemental food for your use. (NOTE: We are not a nut-free facility.)
Policy on children: As Sisters of Life, we welcome moms to bring their infants who are "babies in arms" with them on retreat. To help uphold the silent nature of the retreat, we only allow children who are 8 months old or younger and not yet crawling.
Cost: There is a $100 (for retreatants between the ages of 18-35) or $200 (for retreatants above the age of 35) non-refundable registration cost for this three-day, two-night weekend retreat.
