Who is this retreat for? This retreat is open to men ages 18 years old and older.
What to Expect: This retreat is a graced time of prayer, service, and fellowship with the theme "Men of Hope," in line with the Jubilee Year. The weekend includes Mass on Saturday and Sunday, opportunities for Sacramental Confession, Eucharistic adoration, and a "work project" for the Sisters on Saturday. The talks, focused on holy men from Scripture and the saints, will be given by members of the Knights of Columbus Evangelization and Faith Formation Office. Our Chaplain will be Fr. Stan Fortuna, CFR. Join men seeking to follow the Lord in faith, fraternity, and prayer.
Villa Maria Guadalupe Retreat Center is a place of renewal, hope, and mercy under the protection of the Blessed Mother. Drawing from the liturgy and teachings of the Catholic Church, the retreats we offer are centered on the Eucharist. The rest, quiet, and prayer at Villa Maria Guadalupe will strengthen retreatants, deepen their spiritual lives, and help them to be “people of life and for life” more fully.
Meals: The weekend includes all meals prayerfully and lovingly prepared by the Sisters. However, we can only accommodate Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free diets. If you have particular dietary needs beyond this, please feel free to bring supplemental food for your use. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use, if necessary. (NOTE: We are not a nut-free facility.)
Cost: There is a $300 non-refundable registration cost for this three-day, two-night weekend retreat.
*However, we do not want the registration cost to keep anyone from coming on retreat. If you are in need of financial assistance, please call us at (203) 329-1492, and we'd be very happy to speak with you.
